Yoga isn't about training to be a contortionist (as impress as it is!), it's about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and committing to be open with yourself whatever mood you're in/whatever time you have. It can simply be taking 3 deep breaths, or laying in savasana pose, slowing time down to look inwards and notice what your body and mind need to be able to feel more free. We move in asanas (poses) to create space within the physical body to release tension, which releases tension in the mind - we gain an open perspective, and become closer to nature and spirituality (our inner wisdom) with movement and conscious breath.
I gravitated towards my 200 YTT Multi-style and 100 YTT Yoga Nidra teacher training certifications in India, Rishikesh (Earth's Yoga capital) delving deeper into the vast knowledge of the ancient practice. My goal here is to pass down what I've learnt and inspire, as a vessel without limits. In hope that it can guide others to explore with me, a journey away from Pratibhasika Satya (the reality we create in our minds) to believe in Paramārtha (the absolute truth).
Remember, yoga isn’t just stretching; it's about leaning into discomfort and staying with it, teaching us resilience. It helps us to rebalance/cleanse our body and mind.
An in-depth 2 week program will guide you into the beginning of a yogic lifestyle that fits YOUR routine, to gain stability in your practice. The program will be built for your current level of experience, your development goals i.e. strength, flexibility, spirituality etc. It will include a personalized Ayurvedic nutrition pack, daily yoga development classes, breath work techniques, finding the creative child-like energy that is within us, and so much more!
